Harris will not win Ohio. Early vote, which historically trends Democratic, is counted first there. Self Esteem Nov 2024 #15

then it stayed that way. Right now they are releasing early voting results, because OH counts that first.

Voting was heavy. Summit County (Akron metro) had a higher turnout than 2022 - so that is good (it's a blue county).

But expect Ohio to turn redder as the night goes on.

I'd love that but it's probably not likely.

I already got mine up, and now they're pretty well dashed. I was foolish enough to be cautiously optimistic.

Democrats always lead early on here.

The question will be how much she loses Ohio by - not whether she'll win it.

The right wing GOPers gerrymandered the state and got very skilled at choking voting locations in Ohio.

Each county in Ohio gets 1 early voting location.
(2020 data)

Franklin Co/Columbus has nearly 860,000 registered voters.

Columbiana Co/East Palestine- where that train derailment was almost 2 yrs ago- has 64,000 & they get one early voting location, just like the more populated counties.

I’ve learned how it goes. Every election I think it’s happening and then the day of vote comes in.
