Imagine a person with measles walks thru a room. 2 hours later an unvaxxed person walks thru the same room

There’s a 90% chance they get measles

Now I'm wondering if the virus going active again is going to mutate so
vaccinated people are at risk and people with natural immunity are too.

Say it does not mutate like covid does. Small blessings.

it would be nice to eradicate some of those others too but antivaxxers want to make them great again.

I was born late ‘52…the measles vax came out in ‘63 I think. My brother caught it and my mother closed all the curtains in the house to darken it as much as possible. I didn’t get it. He also caught the mumps…I escaped it. So now I have a 9 month old grandson…and his parents are very….shall I say vaccine ‘hesitant’…. They are going to vaccinate…but not sure when. Which galls me I have to admit. I remember getting the polio vaccine via a sugar cube! So now we have a very serious outbreak and it made me very nervous. I don’t recall being vaccinated for measles, and had I gotten it when it came out it would have been a killed virus and is not as effective. So, I got it and the only side effect I had was when it was given…stung like hell. Nothing afterward tho. Not even a sore arm. And I always have side effects from vaccines. So when I read that drug addled mind of RFK jr say that the vaccine can have worse side effects than having the disease I want to chuck a brick at his head. Well…that is my PSA for today. If you are concerned, get the vaccine. It won’t be a problem and you will be told to repeat it in a month. Not a big deal. I don’t want to get it, or accidentally give it to my baby grandson.
