Anyone Watching Rachel???

She's on fire tonight. Pushback from Americans are working. They are caving. But they are making more cuts to NOAA, and of course Department of Education.

The felon and Muskrat both suffer from deep seeded psychosis, they are both damaged. They need to be ousted.

in Louisiana. The DOJ shut down a case against a petrochemical plant that is poisoning the community on the grounds that it helps Trump to meet his plans to do away with DEI. 92% of the population of Cancer Alley is black. This is a criminal situation what on earth does it have to do with DEI. Alex interviewed local people. The plant was also .25 miles away from a grade school before the school was shut down.

The Justice Department dropped a landmark lawsuit alleging that emissions from a Louisiana petrochemical plant pose a danger to nearby communities.

"The Justice Department on Friday dropped a landmark lawsuit alleging that cancer-causing pollution from a Louisiana petrochemical plant poses an imminent danger to nearby communities...

... In a news release Friday, the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD) said the dismissal of the case complied with President Donald Trump’s executive order targeting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the federal government. The department said such initiatives include environmental justice efforts aimed at reducing pollution in minority communities. The population in LaPlace is predominantly Black.

... “The Bush White House paused the cases the Clinton administration had brought against power plants for about a two-year period,” Schaeffer said. “But that was a pause, not a cancellation. And the cases eventually came back to life because the Justice Department insisted they move forward.”

... The Denka facility is a quarter-mile away from a predominantly Black and Latino elementary school. In November, a southeast Louisiana school board voted to shut down Fifth Ward Elementary and send its roughly 300 students to two nearby schools..."

About the Senate Democrats deal to allow the Republican CR to pass without a cloture vote as long as they get to vote on Murray's 30 day CR?
I mean Chris Hayes and Josh Marshall at TPM are talking about it.

Has changed. Josh Marshall of TPM and others like Chris Hayes are reporting that Schumer made a deal with Thune that Senate Dems would vote for cloture to get a vote on Sen Murray's 30 day CR but it will fail and then Republicans will pass the Republican CR on a straight Republican party line vote. It appears the fix is in

will catch it at midnight in a few minutes.

I remember this from years ago, actually. I had no idea it had not been resolved! Looks like 12 yrs of Democratic Presidents should have done something about It. It's a damn good thing, I guess, that I am not the AG. I would put this case on the top of the stack a long time ago. Where's the law? Where's the justice????
