AOC: I hope Senate Democrats understand there is nothing clever

about setting up a fake failed 30 day CR first to turn around & vote for cloture on the GOP spending bill.

Those games won’t fool anyone. It won’t trick voters, it won’t trick House members. People will not forget it.

and tell them they'd rather shut down the government than hand away their own power in one of the only votes requiring 60 and give them a free ticket to destroy our democracy. (AZ (kelly, gallego), MN (fetterman), CO (hickenlooper), VA (kaine), MI (slotkin), and your own senators to tell them to pressure the others, stop giving away the only power we have and keep on message and anyone else who is caving, also leave message /call Charles shoe-mer (need to use name charles or you won't get through to him)) and let them know caving on this vote will destroy the democratic party. It's not like repubs of this era have ever negotiated in good faith or conceded anything. You can fix the wording, congressional switchboard is 202-224-3121. OBTW, manchin and spinema should forever be on the poop list. Hope this all makes sense, have to get back to work (which makes it hard to be as up to speed on things as I would like).
