***BREAKING*** The Slobfather's Approval Falls To 42% In Highly Rated Quinnipiac Poll

Seven weeks after President Donald Trump began his second term in the Oval Office, 42 percent of voters approve of the way he is handling his job, while 53 percent disapprove and 6 percent did not offer an opinion, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pea-ack) University national poll of registered voters released today.

42% approval? Our fellow citizens (the 42%) so far have only passively observed. Trump will activate them soon enough.

Even with both houses running interference for him and a very deferential white house press corps sanewashing his every move, he is underwater. And this is supposed to be the honeymoon period.

Even if he had his proper rating, somewhere around 4%, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference.

No one is going to do anything about it. We’re stuck with these pieces of shit.

still being completely devoted to Hitler. I think some will peel off, but this is a movement made up of fanatics who are no different than fanatical Germans in those old propaganda films.

Still, 42% is too high. It should be more like 18% approve.

being seen as a strong man by the sycophants that he surrounds himself with. It’s like saying the Kray Twins aren’t well liked by the people they assaulted, terrorized, extorted and murdered and they are really unhappy about it.

Sure, it's still higher than it should be, but it continues to drop steadily and fairly quickly.

Quinnipiac 42% approve | 53% disapprove | -11
Reuters/Ipsos 44% approve | 52% disapprove | -8
CNN 46% approve | 53% disapprove | -7

Quinnipiac has dropped 7 points in just the last 3 weeks.

The Daily Mail also issued a poll on Monday that showed Trump at -2. Just a week earlier, they had him at +8. That's a drop of 10 points in 1 week!

Its notable that he's even underwater on immigration issues at this point.

• immigration issues: 46 percent approve, 49 percent disapprove
• foreign policy: 42 percent approve, 53 percent disapprove
• the military: 41 percent approve, 48 percent disapprove
• the economy: 41 percent approve, 54 percent disapprove
• the federal workforce: 40 percent approve, 55 percent disapprove
• the Russia – Ukraine war: 38 percent approve, 55 percent disapprove
• the Israel – Hamas conflict: 37 percent approve, 49 percent disapprove
• trade with Mexico: 37 percent approve, 56 percent disapprove
• trade with Canada: 36 percent approve, 58 percent disapprove

If a government shutdown does occur, 32 percent of voters say they would blame Democrats in Congress the most, 31 percent say they would blame Republicans in Congress the most, 22 percent say they would blame President Trump the most, and 15 percent did not offer an opinion.
