there will always be beauty, love, empathy and hope.
these are the things, no matter how bad things get, they will never vanish.
there is beauty in all things, there is love that is quiet and loud, there is empathy that can never be squashed and hope is eternal.
they may try as the must do to try and take them away, but they can never ever have them.
because their hate prevents them.
and it's because they can't have them, it's what drives them mad with jealousy.
and jealously always makes mistakes.
we have already won, we just have to realize it as a whole
be loving, be kind, be gentle but never forget, we must never stop.

(2,891 posts)Truly if we know this in our hearts, no one will be afraid to speak, or surrender in advance, or make a bargain with the devil
We will stand up for our rights excited about our inevitable triumph
We'll come forth in unheard of numbers
The energy of love instead of fear will guide us
and the outcome

(15,004 posts)I am really working on my own personal journey of healing and getting back to a solid internal base of heart=home.
So it's really anoyying to have this apocalyptic BS happenng while I'm "just trying to get my LIFE together, man!"
BUT - I am blessed to have a home. And *I live in a beautiful place that affords me the healing of beauty in nature. That's where the peace is. Then I can use that inner peace to make things happen in the "real" world as needed. But the peace is crucial!
If anyone is living in a city, just find your place to reconnect. It can be as simple as putting your feet in the grass at the local park.
That connection to nature is the reminder that we're bigger than all of this, and the earth-drama we are in right now is part of a collective learning. We can hold our light for others only when we can find it inside ourselves.
Geez...I didn't mean to come here and preach the wooo...
But yeah, nature has been my savng grace when the shit seems too overwhelmng.
