I could feel the love and respect these people have for their fallen ones.

It goes against the grain for US immigrants who came from countries with Kings
and there was a lot of bowing and scraping.

That said, the Ukraine pure respect and admiration for fallen soldiers
is overwhelming to view.

More so than we can imagine, as we haven't fought a war on our own soil and for our own freedom since the Civil War.

The russians simply leave theirs to rot in the field, or even dispatch their wounded and leave them. They're dying for the ego of a dictator and dreams of imperial grandeur, but usually join up to get large sums of money, which they or their survivors may never see.

It still destroys me to see so many Ukrainians killed. I believe that if they'd been given the right kinds of weapons in the right quantities, this war would have probably been over a couple of years ago.

and the other appeasers will never understand is Ukraine giving up and abandoning their occupied lands is a slap in the face to everyone that's died so far. It's telling every life represented by these flags that they didn't matter.
