(765 posts)I cannot imagine that the odds of a woman alone being sexually assaulted is HIGHER in an unmanned vehicle than it would be for a regular, manned vehicle. I mean I'm opposed to self-driving taxis for other reasons, but that is really not one of them. Am I missing some scenario I'd not considered?
Also, technology has advanced quite a bit since 1988, just saying.

(6,974 posts)In a holding pattern above a very busy Gatwick airport, way back in 1988.
Except the holding pattern was a bit of a square, with some very sharp corners.
Didn't know them big airplanes could bank that much and that sudden!
Automated process, I was told. The computers did that, I was told.
The wings didn't fall off, so there is that.

(15,143 posts)There is some controversary about the fault. Pilot error or the aircrafts computer not allowing the plane to be pulled up by the pilots.
