Brother and SIL went to Lawler event in Bardonia, NY and here's a summary of what they saw so far. (Update)

We are at the Clarkstown South High School in Bardonia, NY. There is extreme police presence here. We were screened to enter by the police, asking if they were there for the Mike Lawler event. Police escorted them to the parking lot. The school is one of many, but is tucked way off any roads so no one can see the protestors. Even the roads before the school entrance have police and signs stating that you cannot park along them. This event is extremely locked down against protesting. Just about everyone entering and walking into the school fits Trump profile (older, gray, crotchety looking. Vets with vet hats. Lawler bumper stickers. My sister-in-law found that there is no hooting, heckling, or loud voices allowed. The only videos and photos allowed are by Lawler "State" cameras.

Lawler rigged the attendees by posting an immediate "sold out event" notice as soon as it was announced. He just saw two people walk by with signs (one said "Hands Off!" ).

Update:

Walked up to the school, police turned them away because they would not allow handbags onto the premises. They said the handbags would have to be stored in the car. They told others they were turned away due to a handbag and none of them knew of this restriction. Drones were flying overhead and they spoke to an organizer who was handling protest signs. There were 30 or so protesters who were mostly seniors. They had to stand behind barricades 100 feet from the school. It was cold, raw and windy. No news coverage to document the protesting. Police had all of the parking lots blockaded. One woman approached and said she was kicked out for being too loud.

He said it appeared to have the whoed thing rigged to prevent dissent. Shutting out non-Republicans, excessive police presence, choosing Sunday night, drones, roads flagged, parking lots blocked, a list of rules to follow and only chosen questions could be asked.
