Canada election info & link for results: 6 time zones. First polls close at 7pm USA ET.

You should be able to watch Canadian Broadcasting Corporation CBC live coverage in several ways for free:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/elections/watch-federal-election-canada-2025-1.7508661

The ballots are simple with 3 to 7 names (though Pierre Poilievre's riding has 91 names because of tricksters) and are hand counted. I expect about 98% of the 343 ridings (seats) will have been called by midnight ET or earlier. We should know by about 11 pm ET whether Liberals or Conservatives have won, if not a bit earlier. Whether it will be a majority or minority government may take longer..

Local times

Newfoundland 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (7:00 pm ET)
Atlantic . . 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (7:30 ET)
Eastern . .. 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. (9:30 ET)

It’s a Liberal majority government.

I’ll be watching and hoping.

and started paying a lot of attention. I think he's got the perfect background to deal with not only Trump but global instability. ANd he's already got the trust of and connections with European leaders. ANd he has compassion and empathy and is brilliant. All things desperately needed. Trump is leaving a big hole in a lot areas where the US used to take the lead only a few months ago.
