IDF Reiterates Ban on Gazans Entering the Sea AND Israel Blocks Medical Equipment From Entering Gaza Strip, Citing

I can’t even think of any other reason for these things happening in Gaza now but the destruction of a people. The links are archive from Haaretz.

The IDF reiterated its wartime ban on entering the Mediterranean Sea yesterday, warning that swimming could 'endanger' lives. Palestinians in Gaza say the sea was their last reprieve from Israel's destructive military campaign, as well as one of the few places to bathe or escape heat

During the last 21 months of war, access to basic services and infrastructure has steadily eroded across Gaza amid Israel's ongoing military campaign and restrictions on humanitarian aid. For many Gazans, the Mediterranean Sea served as one of the last remaining outlets for relief from the war, whether to cool off, bathe or fish for food. With temperatures routinely high, and with the territory's drinking water network largely nonfunctional, the closure of Gaza's shoreline has sparked deep frustration and despair.
"I'm literally dizzy from hunger, thirst and the heat," said Rajaa Qudeih, a 31-year-old mother of two from Deir al-Balah. "Gaza is going through the worst famine, we haven't eaten, and we can't even find a piece of bread."

AND in other story

Israel is preventing the entry of medical equipment into the Gaza Strip, claiming it is "dual-use" and could be exploited by Hamas or other terrorist groups not only for its intended medical purposes but also for weaponry or infrastructure development.

The complete list of banned equipment, which was compiled in June and obtained by Haaretz, includes essential items for Gaza's healthcare system, including operating tables, scalpels and components for ultrasound machines, as well as items that could be used to build shelters for the civilian population.
Aid organizations submitted a request to allow the items in after all equipment was banned from entering the Gaza Strip at the outbreak of the war, with the exception of a limited list approved by the security establishment.

The expanded list rejected by Israel includes, among other things, tents, tarpaulins, storage units, solar panels, fire extinguishers, batteries and more.

I have no words for this that won’t get me banned I fear. My outrage boils over.

The overt racism and disregard for humanity have come to a head, IMHO. It hasn't mattered which administration has been in office.

Human rights groups, Holocaust scholars within Israel, have made their findings well known...those quiet about it here in the US political scene do so out of agreement or cowardice.

The repercussions will be devastating for all...with no winners except for the truly self-delusional.

And the violence and death continues in Sudan, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Central African Republic, often with the help of foreign actors exploiting natural resources. Women and children are often the victims of the violence as they suffer multiple rapes and for those not murdered the insertion of nails, spikes, and other metal objects to cause constant pain and prevent any future conception.

One would think that with progress humans would become more civilized. As we are seeing even in the US with MAGA, ICE, and some border control, the US also is becoming more inhumane and violent.

They haven't resorted to tossing dead body parts into the Strip yet, but who knows what they'll try next...

But there should be tons more. Every person should be outraged.

To those who are not, I say - how can you not be? You would be if these were your children, parents, siblings. What's the difference?? All you need to do is imagine YOUR loved ones in THEIR shoes. It shouldn't be that hard.

Imagine your kids when they were little gping through 21 months of pure terror. If they made it whole to this point they are still severely traumatized, malnourished, stunted, diseased, ill and in pain and despairing. Everything they knew is gone but for the sea. The last thing to be taken from them is the sea. No getting clean, no play, no relief - from the heat and dirt or from their constant torment. And all this would be known to the people dictating this policy. If they don't know, it's because they are completely lacking in compassion or they don't hold Gaza's children in the same regard and the same care as all children universally. That is a big moral failure.

There are no excuses left. This is not "war", this is deliberate, calculated cruelty for revenge and political gain.
