Who's got your back when you legitimately try to hold Trump accountable?? No one?

Especially a strong black woman.

Fani Willis tried. I just looked to see what has happened with her this year, and found this:

March 22, 2025 Courthouse evacuated after Fani Willis' office receives suspicious parcel containing unidentified white substance - https://www.democraticunderground.com/10143423925

March 17, 2025: Judge orders Fulton DA to pay $54,000 for violating Georgia Open Records Act - https://georgiarecorder.com/briefs/judge-orders-fulton-da-to-pay-54000-for-violating-georgia-open-records-act/

May 16, 2025 New law breathes life into Georgia Senate panel probe of Fulton DA Willis, Stacey Abrams - https://georgiarecorder.com/briefs/new-law-breathes-life-into-georgia-senate-panel-probe-of-fulton-da-willis-stacey-abrams/

Cowsert’s Senate Special Committee on Investigations is expected to expand its list of targets this year as it opens a probe into the relationship between Stacey Abrams and New Georgia Project following a Jan. 15 settlement in a 2019 case alleging illegal campaign contributions to Abrams’ 2018 Democratic gubernatorial campaign.

Cowsert, a lawyer, launched his campaign to become Georgia’s next attorney general this spring by proclaiming his “fearless commitment to law and order” which included leading investigations into allegations of unethical conduct by Willis and financial improprieties between Abrams-related groups

The answer is apparently “no one”. This is a problem and I don’t know the solution. The Judicial Watch is tearing good people up with lawssuits because they stand in the way of the rightwing agenda. Whether it is stirring up an unstable base to go shoot representatives that stand in the way of control of the Minnesota state houses, or threatening voting rights activists, or systematically tearing down the power of democratically-elected Democratic politicians, the rightwing is holding far too many cards. The left seems to have no deep pockets or strategies to have the back of those who fight for justice.

So MAGAGOPNAZIs continue rolling the nation back to the days of the Fugitive Slave Act.

Local. State. Federal.

We do need a strategy. And, best of all, thinking up a brainstorm doesn't cost a penny.

DEI was created. So, f you do NOT WANT to live in a free and just society, let donny 2-scoops and company continue on his burning mrach of destruction.
But lest we forget, we do not live in a truly free and just society, and because the economic deck is stacked against the individual, people are not focused on DEI as a means of bettering most people. I think we might be better off focusing on the overall economic inequality espoused by rethuglicans and the robert's Supreme Court.

Now, as the Constitution and Bill of Rights are dismantled, we focus our rhetoric on sideshow.

Does. Not. Compute.
