Even if the CPI didn't show inflation in the most recent report, it wouldn't mean that there was no inflation BECAUSE THE CPI EXCLUDES FOOD AND ENERGY.

I wish every time Trump starts mouthing off about Jay Powell some reporter would remind him that Powell was his handpicked person to lead the Federal Reserve.
