Why in the eff did he give Putin 50 days?

He's unleashing a "massive attack" on Ukraine right now! How many will die during this 50 day extended "ultimatum"?

Breaking on CNN.

5. Hard not to agree with that, my friend,

but it is still infuriating. Russian state TV is dismissing the "ultimatum" by saying we've been through all this before.

which he will, so he randomly chose a deadline which will prove to be meaningless. More TACOs.

Then after 50 days, Trump and the EU step up and say "Negotiate Boys"

Russia will use the 50 days to advance as far as possible

I don't particularly think the 50 day thing is smart strategy... HOWEVER... some leaders of NATO seem to like it

As we draw closer to September 1, it will be interesting to see if Trump amps up the pseudo tough-guy rhetoric. Should that be the case, the media will run with nightly special broadcasts of "Will it come to war?" Pay close attention to which MAGA Republicans go on the air frequently, begging the president and for cooler heads to prevail while criticizing "warmongering" Democrats for standing with Ukraine and NATO. Those will be the politicians most in the bag for Putin.

…two weeks, the same timeframe he said he would need to decide whether to bomb Iran? An action that is solely HIS!

What’s so key about 02 September?

He pulled it out of his ass. He’s still scared of Putin.
