We keep being shocked by the deeds of a man with no conscience. All the while we leave unaddressed, the full embrace that his supporters offer at the expense of their own soul.

As long as I can remember this has happened and I have never been able to figure out why it's the norm.

Chastened? (Hmm
that would imply a lessons been learned.).
I kinda doubt any big-business Americans might actually learn something from this, but seems to me they need to. Or are we just way too important, entitled, and/or haughty to learn anything from this? Were always supposed to win, in these things? Does anybody bother to think ahead about how to handle a setback? Im kinda assuming thats a dynamic in play now.
