It has been the goal since the Jimmy and Tammy Faye and Pat Robinson's early days of the 1970's and 80's and their take over of the GOP.

SO, they do not believe that they have anything to fear.

But their understanding of the Jesus, as described in the Bible, is child-like at best.
Plus the story of Jesus in the NT up to the point of his "ascension", is not the same Jesus that will be coming back. Its called "The end times" for a reason. They should be happy it's not real because If it were actually true these charlatans and deceivers, these fake Christians that would forsake the poor and needy and use the good news of Jesus to have power and wealth over others, would be the first to put to the flaming sword of righteous wrath by Jesus.
I'm an unequivocal and unapologetic atheist but the joke being that even if I'm wrong, I'm still in a better position, morally and ethically, than almost any Christian.

16. Notice How Much Work The Word 'Believe' Is Doing In Those Statements

Belief is the willing suspension of critical thinking and the simultaneous embrace of mere supposition as fact, i.e. the embrace of delusion.

Delusion always gives birth to further delusion in order to sustain the original delusions.

Always.

This. Is. That.

Here's to the restoration of our freedoms through the defeat of delusional beliefs through our nation returning to Reason's rule.

8. Gutfeld's "Humor" always has to have an explanation behind why it's funny.

But if you have to explain why a "joke" is funny, it's not funny. Such is the case with most conservative so-called "humor".

... I didn't know he was an aspiring comedian, and I thought, "What an asshole!" Later, when I saw his show and realized he was trying to be funny, I thought, "What an asshole!" He reminds me of 8th-grade "put-down artists," or maybe more like one of the kids who followed them around, trying to fit in by emulating their insults.

People have told me that Trump is funny (he is humorous, he is joking).
I never see it. I thought I had a pretty good sense of humor & Ioved the insult comics past and present.
But, pretty much the same reaction to Trump's bafflegab as you report.

So maybe it works with his base, or maybe Gutfeld or Gutman or whatever his name is, is trying to find his way in.
