Stephen Colbert Reveals 'The Late Show' Is Ending: '

https://www.today.com/popculture/tv/the-late-show-with-stephen-colbert-canceled-rcna219500

CBS: This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”

In other words, CBS bowed to Trump again to remove one of his most vocal critics.

While it’s hard to believe trump politics is not involved, I do think late night shows on major networks is a declining market and 3 major shows might be too much.

MAGA is a minority and pissing off 30% is better than pissing off the other 70%.

If it was a financial decision -- it wasn't -- it was a pretty fucking stupid one.
