Chump and his revolving door of lawyers are in constant Sue! mode
A couple of months ago I read somewhere that he/they had lost about 93% of their lawsuits filed since January. Of course everyone is obsessed with the big ones he wins or the ones where the media or universities fold.
I found this July 9 article from Forbes saying he has lost 69%. Still.
Big Fuckin Loser!
Trumps Success Rate In The Courts So Far: 31%
Here's a couple of shitty ones he won:
March 7 WIN: Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly denied labor unions effort to block officials with the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing sensitive Treasury Department dataat least while the case moves forwardruling that while the plaintiffs concerns are understandable, they hadnt met the high bar to show access must be blocked while the litigation moved forward.
May 30 WIN: The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 to let the Trump administration dissolve the temporary legal status for some asylum-seekers from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela while litigation moves forward, meaning the government can deport more than 500,000 immigrants, throwing out a lower court order that kept the protections in place while the lawsuit proceeded.
July 8: The Supreme Court ruled 8-1 to allow the Trump administration to fire thousands of employees at multiple federal agencies, throwing out a lower court order that blocked the terminations while litigation moved forward, with Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson writing in her dissent that the courts ruling will lead to enormous real-world consequences and the majoritys decision is not only truly unfortunate but also hubristic and senseless.

Edit: I found the source of the 93% loss rate - it was actually 96% loss rate in the month of May, 2025.

Political scientist Adam Bonica noted last Friday that Trump and the administration suffered a 96% loss rate in federal courts in the month of May. Those losses were nonpartisan: 72.2% of Republican-appointed judges and 80.4% of Democratic-appointed judges ruled against the administration.
The administration sustained more losses today.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan ruled that 14 states can proceed with their lawsuit against billionaire Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency. The administration had tried to dismiss the case, but Chutkan ruled the states had adequately supported their argument that Musk and DOGEs conduct is unauthorized by any law. The Constitution does not permit the Executive to commandeer the entire appointments power by unilaterally creating a federal agency
and insulating its principal officer from the Constitution as an advisor in name only, she wrote.
