Like Christopher Titus was remarking, why would every single republican but one in the House

Block release of information about a pedophile, knowing this would hurt them politically, unless they didn’t think they had to worry about elections anymore?

Republican have always understood that they only need to get a majority on one particular day in November.

I'm sure part of the thinking about that one big bollocks bill they just past passed was that it would be ancient history by the next election.

People will remember pictures and names on the list if it comes out, those careers might be ruined. But they won't remember others who tried to block it. Republicans will gin up a dozen hoaxes and pseudoscandals between now and the next election...,

Nothing republicans do or stand for is EVER popular. It's why they so easily (and often glibly) traffic in culture war issues.

situation carefully. On one hand there is protecting a pedophile. But on the other hand the pedophile has been successfully protected by politicians and the media for years. And if their authoritarian Strong Leader goes down, he will no doubt leave the party in disarray since they haven't been able to choose an heir apparent. Also, Republicans don't always condemn pedophiles. Remember chief justice Roy Moore in Alabama who barely lost his senate bid, and look at all of the pedophile religious leaders who get away with pedophilia for years before being slapped on the wrist.

He will use violence to stay in power if the piece of shit dies or whatever, I almost said removed but he will never be removed.

We need to keep in mind the Supreme Court is in the hands of people who purposely ignore and violate the law and the constitution every time they make a ruling.

It’s funny, I remember being mocked here when I said all of the Trump appointees would go along with anything he wanted, like I was mocked when I said Maga would approve of killing Americans.

when it is done at the behest of their Strong Leader, it fact it can energize them. The whole "shoot someone on Fifth Avenue" thing? Well, Trump did the presidential equivalent by ramping up executions of federal prisoners before the election.

so that they will eventually have something to release and satisfy the MAGA horde, however untruthful it actually is.
