RW Twitter is abuzz on "Russia hoax" here's an indication of the ridiculousness

This is a good example of EVIDENCE of, basically, a conspiracy to frame Trump.

An email from Susan Rice to herself documenting a meeting in the Oval (that she notes she wasn’t present for). Pres. Obama tells Comey and Sally Yates to make sure everything is being done “by the book”. It goes on to say that Comey “potentially” could withhold info from Mike Flynn (who wasn’t yet on his position) due to the overwhelming evidence that Flynn had strange and way too much communication with Kislyak.

To me, their “evidence” does exactly the opposite of their goal. Twitter is awash with this right now. All of it I’ve seen is this ridiculous.

I tried not to frame it in my post.

This is a staple of Fox News right up there with “some people are saying”. They tell the viewer what they are about to see or hear. It’s very effective. Regardless of the actual content, they’ve framed it in the audience’s minds and then come back after to confirm how they had framed it.

Basically this is what Svetlana does, make money off a specific conspiracy. The facts about Flynn that you posted aren’t important. She probably thinks he was DEEP STATED.

Appeals court rejects academic’s libel suit over claims of affair with Flynn - Politico, April 15, 2021

A federal appeals court handed another legal defeat Thursday to a Russian-born academic who claims she was libeled by press accounts that she says insinuated she had an affair with former National Security Adviser and Defense Intelligence Agency chief Michael Flynn.

The academic, Svetlana Lokhova, sued several news organizations in 2019 over the reports and also named as a defendant Stefan Halper, a U.K.-based former professor who was a central figure in the FBI investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

A ruling issued by the Richmond, Va.-based 4th Circuit Court of Appeals Thursday upheld an earlier district court decision throwing Lokhova’s suit out in its entirety.

Halper’s lawyers asked the appeals court to impose sanctions on Lokhova’s lawyer Steven Biss, a Charlottesville, Va.-based attorney who has drawn notoriety for filing a series of libel suits on behalf of Rep. Devin Nunes, (R-Calif.), now the ranking minority member of the House Intelligence Committee.

Halper’s lawyers said Biss’ handling of the Lokhova case violated bar rules. Thacker was sharply critical of Biss, saying: “His history of unprofessional conduct is long.” She declined to order sanctions though, saying the issue remained up to the district court.

Nunes! I almost forgot about this guy. Biss was the lawyer who helped Devin fight the “defamation” he suffered at the hands of Xitter accounts Devin Nunes' Cow and Devin Nunes' Mom.
