JD Vance may not be inherently stupid, but he remains insecure from his early years of dorkiness & bullying-- and is thus readily manipulated.

On the one hand, Vance is more disciplined than Trump (that's not saying much), but has at least an average knowledge of public policy that Trump very much lacks.

Trump has tremendous charisma AMONG HIS OWN SUPPORTERS. Vance has nowhere near that same level of magnetism.

He lacks the Fascist Felon's salesmanship and ability to sway a crowd. Plus, no one likes him. He'll never be able to win an election on his own.

Mostly because Vance won't make some of the stupid errors that Trump does. He has more self-control, which will help his image. His corruption prior to being VP has only barely come to light, and attention faded quickly. Of course, he had less baggage than Trump, because of his age, and the fact of Peter Thiel sponsoring him.

Finally, he is younger, healthier, with at least two terms legally possible...and all the illegal tactics already in his tool box.

Vance would bring no full Bro rhetoric too.

JD isn’t anywhere near as flippant, erratic, and flat out stupid as Trump.

if Vance were president rather than Trump. That's the best thing I can say about him.

Also, I think he'd be much more rational than Trump on tariff policies---
and quite possibly understand that a tariff is a tax on the American people,
which Trump continues to deny...

As for most everything else, he's your standard right-wing nightmare.
