Colbert SLAMMED Biden to the point I stopped watching his show

The shades the licking the ice cream cones and so on.

And yet? I think of the guests he had on? From Hillary Clinton to Nicole Wallace to oh so many Congress people and senators.

In my world? I am ok flipping the channel. And watching a clip here or there of Colbert.

Hard to deny his comedic genius nor his impressive guest list.

Personally? I am outraged. Talk about stifling free speech.

and now Colbert.
ABC,NBC and CBS have all capitulated. Shame.
He's bold enough to say Jimmy Kimmel should be next
Jon Stewart's contract is coming to an end within the next year - Don't be surprised if his contract is not renewed.
Nobody should be OK with this. Even if you don't like that these folks criticize Biden.
This is not what a free society does.

Not only did I blame her and the media for not doing their jobs - so this is why we are here - to look within . . . but a few thousand other people did too.

That is not the point you raised. You blamed a retired newscaster for some omission in the mainstream media. Did you check to see if she had a video on any of the issues you alluded to?

That's what comedians do, make jokes about people in power. Yet he also had Biden on as a guest, multiple times, before, during and after the 2020 election, as both VP and President. He has had multiple different Democratic leaders on as well, Senators, Representatives and candidates. Furthermore, his Biden jokes were always rather gentle stuff you could see Biden himself laughing at, if not making the same joke.

Trump, he went after him with all the outrage in his soul. Trump, and Republicans in general, were never on the show as guests. He would hammer Trump and the Republicans. It was outstandingly funny, but it also had a point, to skewer Trump for his hypocrisy, vanity and cruelty. And while he did make fun of Biden on ice cream, tripping up stairs, etc, he never got down and dirty with Biden like he did with Trump, who, among many other things, he called Putin's cock holster.

So if you want to be outraged, fine, but it only shows your own inability to laugh at ourselves, which is not a good trait to have, in fact it is something you have in common with Trump and the MAGA right. Get over yourself.
