Do you remember when Rümeysa Öztürk was surrounded by ICE thugs? It was caught on video right in the beginning of the raids. She's the perfect person to write about what's really going on. Hideous!

My heart breaks for these women. Ozturk is a gifted writer who, I'm convinced, we'll hear about for years to come.

This is not America. This is not Democracy. This is not humane.

I had tears in my eyes. I realized that our tax dollars are supporting this and I just can't deal with that. I have been to every protest I can, but it now seems like I haven't done anything.
