... Impeachment and removal of 47 and his conspirator Vance in 2027 after a landslide win for Pro-Impeachment candidates in 2026.

Now that would kick off a true national liberation day celebration!!!.

I think we could almost guarantee that a Democratic majority in the U.S. House would be sworn in at noon 1/3/2027.

It could be fun…elect AOC or Jasmine Crockett as Speaker, then impeach the two shitbags and watch racist, misogynistic heads explode!

OFC it's more or less impossible, the numbers simply aren't there in the Senate this cycle for even a simple majority, let alone 2/3. Sigh.

Oh, that would be precious.

So, Hitler never went to trial? I honestly would prefer that active shooters etc. be incapacitated rather than blown to bits before they can be held consciously accountable. No particular rally in PA in mind ….

Yeah, I know, book and movie rights ….

... running and winning across the spectrum in 2026.

The MAGA cult spell may be on it's way to breaking in spectacular fashion.

Do I think it is probable? No. But I've been on the planet long enough to know it is foolish to assume you know the future. Humans are terrible at predicting events.

Which is what it would take in order to have enough for a conviction.

Likely? No. But as I said, never say never. Impeachment could even get a boost from Elon money. Shit like that sometimes plays out in unintended ways that are impossible to foresee.

I’m sure conditions might change where 70% of voters have had it, but until then we need to run on something more than impeachment.

Before the second Trump impeachment, no senators had ever voted to convict a president of their own party.

(Many Republicans *might* have voted to convict Nixon on impeachment charges,
but the process didn't get very far before Nixon resigned, and that was a different time,
when more Republicans *might* have put 'country before party',
and most would not have voted for an indicted or convicted felon....
let alone nominated one for president)

We did improve on that record, as six Republican senators voted to convict Trump
on impeachment number two, after he was actually out of office anyway...
but getting 67 votes to convict seems an impossibility for the forseeable future

Has anything I've every posted indicated I'm just sitting back waiting for impeachment?

How the heck did you get that out of my post?

And what about those who post hopes that NO candidate runs as a Pro-Impeachment candidate in 2026? Did you ask them if they are fine to sit on their asses until 2028?

Give me a break.

In Misery, with twenty-four-hour streaming video of the lies he has told, and of the starving and maimed children resulting from his policy abominations.
Or chained to a rock on the White House lawn with the Harpys doing their thing would do, as well.
And his name chiseled off every plaque or building, erased from every text book and history, media and his image proscribed throughout the country, mention of his name prohibited throughout the land as well.
As a realist, I'd settle for him being discredited and removed from power and his disciples barred from politics for life.
