The transcript reportedly began with a note, saying, "There must be more to life than having everything."
Trump: Yes, there is, but I won't tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.
Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.
Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday - and may every day be another wonderful secret."
TSF has the literary skills of a chimpanzee. Was he ever so literate? "Enigmas never age????" he no more knows what an enigma is than does my TV set or my car.

(126,114 posts)He was never especially articulate, but he was probably capable of writing that little dialog at that time, especially considering how steeped he always was in the world of show biz and movies. And it's also possible that Ghislaine Maxwell actually wrote it for him to give it his approval and add his signature and "artwork."

(19,393 posts)getting back to "Enigmas ever age, have you noticed that?", for shithole, his lawyers will have to acknowledge that he is not that bright and that in itself would be hilarious.

(4,308 posts)In the 1990s, he was interviewed by Charlie Rose. Talk about two predators getting together. Wow! Their off-camera discussions about their exploits must have been abhorrent. Anyway, Trump comes off in the interview as being coherent, articulate and passably charming (as most grifters pretend to be).
On the other hand, there is a possibility (maybe only remote) that the scrivener of the note was Maxwell, who was the one who solicited bawdy birthday anniversary greetings from Epstein's acquaintances. Maybe Trump got on the phone and provided Maxwell with a general outline, and she proceeded to "flesh" it out with the particular choice of words and the sketch of the female anatomy. The spikey signature of Trump would not have been difficult for Maxwell to replicate. In any event, I think the greeting met with Trump's approval, and that he and Epstein cackled about it afterwards.

(1,075 posts)"Carson is an enigma to me" so he at least knows it's a word, even if he doesn't understand what it means. It's probably one of the "smart-sounding" words that he knows, so he throws it around randomly, hoping to sound intelligent

(104,171 posts)and so it's a reference to their hobby of raping underage girls.
Think. Again.
(22,456 posts)....the letter was supposed to sound cryptic, but his lack of intelligence makes it sound like someone making fun of literacy instead.
And I agree with post #7, he thought he was being clever hiding his true thought by using an anagram of "gamine", it was probably something his pedophile buddies did often among each other.

(332 posts)He thinks he is mysterious and difficult to understand. He thinks no one knows what his true thoughts are. Enigma my ass....
It is just so sickening that "their" "wonderful secret" is raping underage girls.
