Did Trump want him to make a deal with Rupert or just to tell him he was "only kidding". He knows how much he needs Hannity and friends at FOX News. He knows he shot himself in the foot.

But, it appears that JD is building up his resume to be the successor to the dipshit.

If he clams up and gets his money men in line, he could find himself in the Oval Office by Christmas. If he mouths off or gets greedy with headlines, he might find himself, courtesy of his boss’s boss, with a first class seat on one of the shorter routes flown by Eighth Floor Window Airlines.

He has a history of bad mouthing Trump and the charisma of an old uncle telling dad jokes.

If he is sworn in and sitting in the Oval Office, the only things the Trumpanzees can do is primary him in 2028, or else impeach and remove before he gets a new VP confirmed, and put Johnson in there.

The VP must call the meeting of the Cabinet officers in order to discuss and vote on removal on the basis of 25A. Once that happens some of us will be very happy and probably celebrate.

But how will the faithful MAGAs react? They're going to be furious and many will blame Vance. These people are occasionally known to act crazy and many of them have gunz. I think Vance is laying low on purpose because of the crazy-factor.

However, if he did, he'd likely try and wait until January 21st 2027, because then he could serve more than two full terms.

This could be prep just in case Trump croaks, but I still don't think he is anytime soon. Longevity runs in Trump's family.
