Ayanna Presley: Epstein

BREAKING: We just subpoenaed the Epstein files.

As a survivor of sexual assault, I know the pain & trauma survivors carry. This subpoena is a massive victory for every survivor who has ever been silenced, dismissed, or harmed.

Bondi must release the files immediately. We demand accountability.

Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (@pressley.house.gov) 2025-07-23T22:50:47.437Z

Is she saying that some Congressional Committee subpoenaed them, and how did that happen when Republicans are shutting every attempt at that down?

Never mind: I just saw the other thread that explains it....

WOW!

Full list of Republicans who voted to subpoena Epstein files from DOJ

Just hours before the House was set to adjourn for its monthlong July recess, a federal law enforcement subcommittee of the powerful House Oversight Committee voted for the motion, introduced by Democrats. It passed in an 8-2 vote with the support of the three Republicans, along with the subpanel's four Democrats and Rep. Robert Garcia, the full committee's ranking member.

Mace posted on X, "We've just filed to redact the names of victims, any personally identifying information, and any CSAM (child sexual abuse material) in the Epstein files to protect the victims."

Later she posted, "Motion to subpoena in the Epstein case approved, 8–2."
