I choose not to avoid using his name, so I'm sorry, but I will continue to do so when it makes sense.

Can you go a single day without using his name? You can start tomorrow.

I'd hazard avoiding his name for 24 hours has the same net result as the here and the now. I think if I wanted to avoid getting distressed by his name, I'd avoid political message boards.
