The efforts to screw with the mid-terms

by planning for and pushing redistricting, registration purges, limiting ways/times to vote, intimidation at the polls etc. are all starting to go into high gear. The message is clear if people wake up. They are going to go to extremes and they will try to push as much of it as they can despite court challenges and in fact the delays in court decisions will be part of their plan in order to claim it is "too late now" to go back and conversely they will also claim, in races they lose, that things were done "too close to the election to be fair".

An aspect of the activities of ICE-American Gestapo that is not being discussed is the effect on voting that grabbing/harassing/jailing US citizens of Latino, Middle Eastern etc. backgrounds can have. Even though many of the eligible voters in those groups believed the lies of Crumb The 1st in the 2024 race many know now the horror of the mistake. So repressing their votes will be important to the fascists for the mid-term election.

Don't be surprised if ICE-American Gestapo starts using voter registration lists and going after Hispanic sounding names they can perhaps make a flimsy likeness to someone they claim is "illegal". We also know that we can expect an armed "presence" near ballot drop boxes and at the polls on Election Day. We can expect that they will use previous lists of those who asked for absentee ballots. Anything they can do they will do to repress voting by targeting groups.

As horrific as the last 6 months has been I believe if the mid-terms are lost or stolen then what will follow that will be far, far worse. The fascists will act completely unrestrained and actions like going after US citizens for their political opposition will ramp up and will not be restrained by a Supreme Court that has no enforcement mechanism. The intimidation of media, universities, businesses etc. has already shown us that many will bow to the fascists. We have seen them grab and arrest elected officials speaking out at meetings so how do we react when they enter the halls of Congress and arrest a member or two? They have openly called for Representatives like Omar etc. to in fact be jailed. Are we really supposed to believe that these maniacal fascists have some limit or line that is too far? What have we seen already? Marines on the streets of Los Angeles? Who would have believed that in January of 2025? But now here we are.

So I think the window for those who want to and can manage to leave is from now until the mid-terms. Because if we lose then the day after Election Day next year may be one of the most horrific for the US as a free country in it's history and it may seal a permanent rule by the GQP fascists if they are successful in their efforts to depress turnout, invalidate voters and rig districts. Leaving will be tightly controlled because they want your spending and tax money. Our time for stopping this madness grows shorter not longer.
