Amy, you may have been right on other days, but right now, you know giving the gop one more inch will kill us all.

I tend to watch primaries and if I go vote in the next one it won't be for Booker. He just seems lightweight to me.

I'll give it another chance after my blood cools down a little bit. I'm close to the point where I am out of politics completely.

With feckless leaders like these, from the far left to the center right, I think it's pathetic and disgraceful. Keep the circular firing squads dummies.

But sure, send us money and give us your free time making calls and marching for us! Maybe we won't switch parties when YOU get us elected! F that. Rant over. I think.

Among the very worst that masquerade as news on youtube. Just my two cents.

Klobuchar and Booker were close buds then.

I wish I had seen more of this to get a feel for more background

at a private residence, so it was a rather intimate gathering (do you know Christine Forester? She was a big bundler for Obama).

Anyway, my impression of him was that he's a fake, through and through. It's all a big act with him, it's clear to me that he's all talk. And this was around the time he voted in favor of Kushner to be ambassador to France.

And if the stories concerning the way Klobuchar treats her staff are true, then she's off my list as well.

Booker does like to put on a show, but I don’t know a him beyond running into him now and then. As for Klobuchar, that was everywhere in the print media for a while, like really everywhere, but then it disappeared right around the time Joe Biden chose Harris over Klobuchar, so I never really found out the source of those reports, and never met anyone in DC who confirmed them.

...but we went to a wedding in Minneapolis in September 2022, and Sen. Klobuchar was on our flight out of DCA. She appeared to be reading, writing notes, basically working the entire flight.

When we walked out front to get a cab, a small car pulled up to pick her up, and as soon as the guy got out of the car (youngish, maybe late 20s/early 30s), she immediately began berating him for not being there when she landed, why did he bring that car, etc. She wasn't yelling per se, but definitely louder than a normal conversational voice; she was loud enough that people were looking at them.

My wife commented at the time that she seemed cranky, and maybe she should have napped on the plane.
