Trump's story just doesn't add up

Virginia Guiffre was a 16-year-old towel girl working in the "spa" at Mar-A-Lago. Jeffrey Epstein was a billionaire Invester, as far as Trump was concerned.

Why would Trump be so upset that a teen aged girl employee went to work for him, unless he knew what Epstein was. Virginia was 16 at the time. Why would Trump be so attached to this employee, unless she worked there for a few years, making her very, very young at hiring.

Trump knew what was going on. They both were cads.

Spa attendants typically greet clients, answer questions and perform administrative tasks, such as taking phone calls, managing communications and booking appointments for prospective clients. They also ensure the spa is clean and well-organized by preparing spa rooms and tidying them after a session. Additionally, they may assist therapists with their treatments and help clients with their requirements.

The previously widely published story about them falling out when they competed over a mansion auction is vastly more plausible.

Making Donnie pay millions more for something very understandably would put you on his enemies list.

A 16-year old girl is a throwaway to him. He could surely find a replacement to abuse easily enough.

on "moving the swimming pool." Trump decided to undercut Epstein's attempt to acquire the mansion by outbidding him. This pissed off Epstein because he wanted the mansion and Epstein figured Trump didn't have the $40 million needed to buy it.
When Trump ultimately outbid Epstein he never lived in it nor had any intention of doing so. Trump sold the mansion for $95 million in one year.

*Probably not all that uncommon with all too many US employers.

Workers have agency; they are not owned by employers. The attitude that people can be owned by others is at the root of much abuse, exploitation, and general social ills. It allows the richest, most entitled, to think of workers as things rather than human beings. It is the mindset that allows all manner of horrors.

Because a reporter asked a question and specifically mentioned her name he responded thusly:

“Uh, I don’t know,” Trump initially responded, before quickly adding, “I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her. And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, none whatsoever.”

His immediate response was "Uh, I don't know"? That does not sound like he knew who she was to me. The last sentence is the "tell". "She had no complaints abut us" - she has been mentioned all over the media lately as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago who Epstein hired away, and in her public statements about Epstein and others, she has said she observed no wrongdoing from Trump. Trump clearly read that and realized he could use it to deflect accusations against him. She obviously had one complaint or "issue" with Mar-a-Lago - they weren't paying here nearly as much as Maxwell offered to work for Epstein.

But the trouble for Trump is, every time he opens his mouth to try to quell the relentless Epstein questions, he implicates himself deeper and deeper!
For instance, if Trump KNEW that Epstein was stealing employees from Mar-a-lago (underage female employees), what did Trump think Epstein wanted them for?
His explanations only generate more questions, and the questions only get more and more dangerous for him.
