A judge rained on Donald Trump’s crime crackdown parade when she released from a youth holding facility two teens charged in connection with the alleged assault of a former DOGE staffer.

The teens, a boy and a girl, both 15 and from Maryland, had been held at Washington, D.C.’s Youth Services Center since being charged in an alleged carjacking assault in the city on August 3 ...

Police are continuing to investigate the Coristine assault. The Metropolitan Police Department released photos of a person of interest on August 7 and urged anyone with information to come forward ...

Yesterday

stepping in to help "a woman"; in another version, she was with him as his date. Then again, it's not so clear who was there when: the police appeared almost immediately, but one of the dude's friend's showed up in time to photograph dude sitting on the sidewalk with his shirt half off and with bright red smears on his face, side, and pants. Despite breathless reports that dude was mercilessly beaten to a pulp, some stories indicate no hospitalization followed, suggesting very limited pulping (if any)

The episode from the teen’s viewpoint ?
I realize they’re minors but they can have their identities protected .
