Frankly I, like most of you, will celebrate his passing. But the fact of the matter is we will have to act and put pressure on the incoming Vance administration.
Vance was not randomly chosen by Trump or the Republican party. Rather he was elevated and thrust into the veep spot as a calculated move by Peter Thiel and his fellow tech bro oligarchs. These are people who want the US to become an authoritarian oligarchy with a CEO type dictator as the head of government, and a puppet under their control.
Whenever such shakeups occur in a budding dictatorship happen there is a period of time to act while power is consolidated and confusion is in the air. Vance is nowhere near as popular with the MAGA crowd as Trump is, and with some wedge driving we could scatter MAGA to the winds. Get out in the streets, urge our reps to use their power, whatever it takes to bring down this madness while we can. For once their power is consolidated, these people won't be giving it up easily.
So celebrate, yes, but then get back to work.
