President Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records in New York last year. New Jersey laws prohibit a person convicted of a crime “involving moral turpitude” from having a liquor license. President Trump's prestigious New Jersey course needs a liquor license to sell beer, wine, etc. at the course.

The New Jersey course received a last-minute extension from New Jersey, giving the golf club six months to sell alcohol while its liquor licenses are being reviewed.
