And I think He is spot on. We have a huge disadvantage in being able to push our message when the whole media behaves like that. It's worth reading the whole thread on bluesky.
.@velshi.com âHead in the sandâ? Please.

Part of the problem is limp news coverage that turns every Dem wobble into a five-alarm fire while treating GOP extremism as background noise. Thatâs what depresses our base.

(3,104 posts)When I saw him speak he seemed like just another cookie cutter consultant talking in "talking points" and platitudes.
And now he attacks everyone else?
The strategists and consultant "class" are starting to look like the problem, to me.

(93,891 posts)MSNBC has made Trump the center of the universe, giving him endless oxygen while Democratic wins barely get a mention. That doesnât build confidence, it feeds despair.

Every Dem family fight gets magnified into âthe party in disarray,â while GOP fractures are brushed aside. It divides us when we need to project strength.

Down-ballot Democrats barely exist in MSNBC coverage. Meanwhile Fox elevates every random GOP backbencher into a national figure. Thatâs a huge imbalance.

Enthusiasm grows when voters see a party fighting and winning. (And Democrats are doing both- fighting back on redistricting attacks and special election wins).

Constant gloom, both sides coverage, and magnified Dem drama donât inspire turnout â they smother it.

(2,924 posts)Harrison says MSNBC doesn't cover down ballot Democrats.
I just saw Graham Platner last week. Mallory McMorrow cane to my notice there. Ali likes the two Justins. Malcom Kenyatta is another name from their guest list. I often get insight on candidates based on interviews from MSNBC. This helps me decide where to contribute to campaigns.
Perhaps Harrison needs an aide to catalog TV interviews of down ballot Democrats, comparing MSNBC with CNN and the Sunday shows.

(218 posts)After losing to Lindsay Graham despite his war chest why would anyone think he would do well running the DNC. Sure there is the ability to raise $$ but these days you need more than that and Harrison didn't do anything to help us in 24.

Velshi is getting quite defensive, isn't he?
