Some 15 years ago when I was starting to feel like these societies prioritize a bloated and corrupt wealthy elite’s bullshit jobs while making science so inaccessible to the rando who wants a non bullshit science job, I was watching it along with Fight Club and American Beauty a lot.

And I had good mentors and labs. But it’s just so few stable jobs..

Dr. Swanson dies of a heart attack before he snaps Peter out of it. Peter basically is hypnotized to not be hypnotized by his situation any longer.

He sees himself. We see him as old, bloated, overweight guy in diapers while he sees what he looked like in his 20's.
