DU seems to have lots of ideas about why trump is not in public this Labor Day, but

how will we know if something is really going on? I think Ron Filipkowski has it figured out, as he posted on bluesky:

If that Trump Truth Social account posts an apology to someone, admits a mistake, or accepts responsibility for something, then we know that something is definitely up.

When he is not seen or heard from. In fact we can’t stand to see him or any of his sick cabinet members on the TV.

but it is infuriating that if Biden disappeared for several days straight and looked like you know what when he did appear, the NYT would have nothing else on their front page and Tapper would probably be unable to breathe from all the pearl clutching.

Ha-Ha, I crack myself up.

A sensitive message of condolence (say, to the families of the Minneapolis victims) on Truth Social would be a dead giveaway, as well.

pun not really intended, but too apt to delete.
