Is he dead yet?

Overworked medical tech confused his dialysis line with his catheter?

Shot by lottery agents when trying to seize the Powerball jackpot?

At first he was afraid? He was petrified? Then he clutched his chest and breathed his last, and he collapsed and died?

Just fucking died already for literally any reason whatsoever?

It was filled with air, nothing in it at all. Dead in the water. Ship of State?

It looked like a huge inflatable copy of a three-master, covered in black plastic tarp. I wondered why anyone would want a ship that was filled with air and nothing else.

Death of Stalin

https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_death_of_stalin

Stalin's oppressive mass murdering government fell apart when he had a heart attack and died. It wasn't clear exactly how the hated dictator died though. Could he have lived if they had gotten him a doctor sooner or if someone who cared about him took care of him?

Anyways, the Russian officials hid it from the people until it was clear he was completely dead.

Hemingway just lifted it from the 17th Century poet/cleric, John Donne.

Anybody remember that line from SNL's first season? The networks had been covering Franco's declining health for weeks, and after he finally expired, Chevy Chase parodied the coverage on every show for at least a year by announcing that "Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead."

When Satan finally calls Trump home, I hope SNL, in the spirit of its originators, will regularly announce that Donald Trump is still dead. It will be sweet music to my ears.
