Racism, Sexism, and Anti Intellectualism. It runs deep, wide, and for multiple generations too.
Trump scratches those bigots itches and to them it really feels good.

Putin installed him in order to weaken America from within and in that he has been highly
successful.

As P.T. Barnum purportedly said, "there's a sucker born every minute." And a whole lot of folks out there are about as intelligent as a box of hair. The remainder who are/were vulnerable have been indoctrinated by evangelical so-called Christianity, along withy right wing talk radio, which really took root in the country around the time (or slightly earlier) when Newt Gingrich was Speaker.

… over

After that via massive cheating in many different forms and then the hold over from slavery called
the electoral college and the minority can rule the majority.

Republicans haven’t won a Presidential Election since 1956 with out cheating or being the legacy
of cheating. I firmly believe that Harris and Walz crushed Trump but Musk, Theil, and other bad
actors deleted millions of votes but Theil, Palantir, and E.S.&S. ran clean up programs (digital
janitor & other software & firmware) that hid the vote deletions or vote flipping and the republicans
and the media could then sell the story that Harris/Walz just couldn’t turn out the vote.

It was a desire for the 'isms'. That is the truth of the matter.

Where is the accounting of the Dumbocrats that assisted the Repukes in selling America down the river to China 🇨🇳 There had been no engagement with Appalachia. Is vacuous a word. The Scotch-Irish are a minority in Appalachia, but they dominate. Then, their influence spreads out to the rest of their state. How are Dems going to market to the Scotch-Irish? In the words of James Webb, you ignore the Scotch-Irish at your peril

Yeah - because schools, clinics and health services, treatment programs, and basic civil rights - all kind of miss the mark ...

A vein implies raw material, but what he tapped into was cultivated, refined, and distilled through 40-odd years of deliberate propaganda. The stupid and all its components have always been there, but conservatives have been very diligent in bringing it to the surface and training its voters to follow the stupid.

Reminding white people of their (alleged) superiority, and the (alleged) loss that happens when minorities make gains

The sole purpose of "leaders" like him is ensuring this group doesn't recognize when they're being fucked over, and organize to fight back

By the time Trump showed up, it was a perfect, and inevitable shit-storm.

Right-wing talk radio, the anti-Christ theology of the "Christian" Right, the corrupt and ideological Supreme Court majority. The un-principled GOP Congress that adopted scorched-Earth hatred, ultra-red, gerrymandered state legislatures, complaint/complicit main-stream media, captured by corporate greed.

All of this was in place ready for the first true fascist that was willing to throw away everything that made America a decent place.

First, like an internet troll, just hurling shit around to get attention, and
Second, using that shit-slinging to cover up his "troll as in pay the troll to cross this bridge or go anywhere"

He simply personifies all the stupid hate and racism that's been blasted 24 by 7 by the Guardians of Pedophiles since Lee Atwater came up with the GOP "Southern Strategy" that consists of three main parts:

• Racism
• Racism and
• Racism

with a sprinkling of xenophobia, homophobia and misogyny for jollies.

I blame so-called "religious" leaders for sucking up to this shitshow to gain donations and those lovely private jets, instead of speaking and acting out the good shepherd's words and deeds.

Profits over prophets.

...he's just the messenger. Everything and everyone that's happened in the US up to right now laid the groundwork for this, or things wouldn't allow for it. He's just the particular opportunist with no scruples who happened to see it and grabbed the stage first. It could just as easily have been any one of a million similar pricks out there, had they found a way to grab the megaphone away. There will be more coming.

when you live in a Democracy, we can only blame ourselves. We have a choice and this is what we have chosen. Sadly, unless we make better decisions, we might not have that choice in the future.
