WASHINGTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - The Trump administration is planning to announce as early as Tuesday that it will relocate U.S. Space Command headquarters from Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Huntsville, Alabama, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the deliberations.
The Pentagon's public affairs website said President Donald Trump was expected to make a "U.S. Space Command HQ Announcement" at 2 p.m. EDT (1800 GMT).

(149,781 posts)The "Space Command" is a total construct of nonsense. Nobody's flying around in space. Nothing to command.

(4,684 posts)...rarely, if ever for legit reasons with this crowd. On the surface, what comes to mind is CO is a purple/blueish state and Alabama is well, Alabama.
Also, why the fuck does this warrant a big deal press conference. This sounds like a mostly non story to have a tv moment.
