I saw that interview 10 days or so ago and a'hole Scab interrupted continuously as the mayor was going through the comprehensive approach to violence in Chicago--starting with the desperate need for social interventions (affordable housing, jobs, community interventions) and not "simply" more police and punitive measures toward these poor communities. He never specifically stated he did not want more police and seemed ready to state that he wanted those who were trained in community policing. He tried to get out the fact that millions of $$ were pulled back by the damned (not) beautiful big-assed bill, but again, Scab kept overtalking him. It is infuriating, and I know damned well that Mika knows what happened, yet remained silent.
