He has found an issue that he believes will be a potent issue in the next election. He, of all people, wants to be the "law and order" President. He knows that he can fool some of the people all of the time.

What should the Democrats do to counter this fake crusade by Trump and the Republicans?

In my opinion, they should propose stopping these criminals with guns once and for all. Let's stop the killing of our kids in the schools. Let's outlaw assault weapons. Let's pass common sense gun legislation. Let us do something to really stop crime, instead of pretending to be tough by putting the military on our streets. There is a right way and a wrong way.

Let's put that on the ballot in every state.
