I would really like the Suozzi right and the Sanders left segments of the party to knock it off

and stop using Mamdani as a pawn in their personal grievances of each other.

Most people aren't in the mood for this petty infighting.

yeah. It sure didn't happen in 2016 and 2024, and now with Democracy on its last legs, one would hope that lostincalifornia Sep 4 #1

a unification would occur at the very least until after the midterms and 2028 presidential election.

Sanders is supporting the Democrat. Suozzi is not.
And it is not petty infighting. It is fighting for Democracy.

"Mamdani, AOC and other DSA members should leave party" Dem Rep. Tom Suozzi insists"

I didn't support him in the Governor's primary and I wouldn't support him if he ran against my Rep. in a primary.

And people who keep demanding that Jeffries endorse Mamdani right now, when the election is not until November are only doing so to create division where there is none.

I want Mamdani to win the general. People who are using him to divide voters are not doing him any favors.

In many places mayor is nonpartisan.
Since he's a Democrat, there's no reason to get negative on him. If you aren't excited about him, just keep quiet.

I support Mamdani as well.

I do have a problem with the daily complaints about a Hakeem Jeffries endorsement from some who align with Bernie though.

It shouldn’t be difficult or uncomfortable for the House leader to support the Dem nominee for mayor of the biggest city in the state he represents.
