67% of Iowas electricity comes from Wind turbines..

We have some of the cheapest power in the US..

And those are good paying jobs working in the wind industry.

Iowa is the leading state in the production of bio fuels. We have over 40 bio fuel production plants

Our electrical needs are going to be going through the roof. Our energy grid nationally cannot handle the needs of AI , The increase could be as high as could be a whopping 70 % in the next year or two

And what does Trump want to do.. Dismantle Wind energy.. take us back to dirty coal that is destroying our climate..

Our representative Miller-Meeks voted against her own state by voting for that big bloated bill of his!!

You just can't make this stuff up

State Government promotes it, but because it is the cheapest and a reliable form of energy. The fossil fuel worshipers hate it, and when the Texas grid failed during the ice storm several years ago, Texas Gov. Abbott tried to blame it on the wind turbines. But in reality the wind turbines failed because they were not winterized....the primary reason that our grid failed was natural gas supply failed due to the cold weather.

Fossil fuel corporations control this state (Texas) as they do for much of the world. They are the cancer of the earth but because they provide so many jobs the environmental degradations and health consequences are just ignored - it is all about the $$$. We have not clean water, no clean air, and the State of Texas doesn't give a shit.

MD Anderson Cancer Hospital is in Houston for a reason......
