I dont think that we are currently in a constitutional crisis, Barrett said in an interview with The Free Press Bari Weiss at Lincoln Center. I think that our country remains committed to the rule of law. I think we have functioning courts.

I'm really not a fan of the dirty six, but I have a particular disdain for her. The timing and way she was nominated? It was full on hypocrisy by the repubs after what they did to Obama. She knew ALL of that and STILL accepted the nomination. Pure ambition. She can shove all of her "rule of law" garbage where the sun don't shine.

(24,642 posts)into foreign prisons with no due process, executions of "suspected drug dealers" with no evidence or due process, election-rigging by the Administration and its allies, government union-busting, open bribery of the President including from foreign interests, an Administration that lies to the courts, an Administration that openly defies the Court's orders, and a Supreme Court that issues very odd precedent-breaking decisions with no explanation.
Thank God there is no Constitutional Crisis.
