I know we have bigger fish to fry, but . . . .

how can Barron Trump matriculate if business students don't report him being in class? I doubt NYU is doing ZOOM at this time. Even if work is scanned and e-mailed, he's missing lectures, in-class discussion, etc.?

Call me petty, but my guess is his mother doesn't want him unsupervised among other students, particularly females who could become pregnant.

he doesn’t have the brain power for college. Let someone else do the work. Just like dad.

Reports of him being MIA from school started before 10 AM on Thursday - so he may well have attended classes on Thursday - and for MWF classes, assuming he missed classes, he's only missed one.

Typically schools allow students at least a full week of absences. And, especially in undergraduate schools, not all professors take/care about attendance.

Large gen ed classes are even cheaper if you go virtual.

I know people at the U of Iowa who have taken at least 75% of their classes online in recent years.

It is the new normal.

As a former HS teacher and parent of recent and current college students, I cannot believe that as much learning is accomplished.

But if we are honest, since college professors and TAs generally do not have requirements for courses in pedagogy, insturction, and assessment, there were a lot of bad teaching practices happening in person as well.
