rump plans G-20 summit at his Doral property

Hosting the summit at a Trump property could invite the allegations of self-dealing that prompted the president to cancel a similar move involving the G-7 during his first term.

President Donald Trump plans to host next year’s Group of 20 summit at his Doral golf resort in Florida, fulfilling his wish to host a major gathering of world leaders at one of his properties after bowing to criticism of self-dealing over a similar proposal during his first term.

“I think that everybody wants it there because it’s right next to the airport. It’s the best location. It’s beautiful,” Trump said Friday, of the decision to host the summit at the resort just west of Miami.

Trump’s decision reflects the unconstrained approach he has taken during his second term — rejecting the guardrails that once constrained him when it came to mixing personal business with his public office ...

4. "It's right next to the airport" was one of the issues when the G-7 plan

was dropped during djt's first term. Now, it's the G-20.

Doral is five miles from Miami International Airport. By then, the rump will want to show off his new jet (rather than motorcade from MALago). Meanwhile, premiers, presidents and prime ministers will also land at Miami's airport.

It will be a total mess as the airspace is closed to --and delay -- private and commercial flights. Just the presence of AF One can close airspace anywhere from three miles to 30 miles around an airport. And jets will be patrolling that airspace to intercept if needed.

But the spoiled brat-King doesn't care. His ego comes first.

He had some guard rails the last time, this time he's pissed all over that and surrounded himself with only "yes people". He's doing whatever he wants this time and doesn't care about anything else.

A New Jersey insurance man who sued and then settled over an itchy infestation at the "tremendous" resort where Trump hopes to host world leaders next year said he's "outraged" by the president's attempt to deny bedbug reports.

Eric Linden is bound by a confidentiality agreement not to discuss the settlement of his 2016 lawsuit -- but he was plenty unhappy with Trump's tweets Tuesday deriding the claims about his Trump National Doral Miami resort ...

Linder demanded $15,000 compensation after being subjected to bites causing "welts, lumps and marks over much of his face, neck, arms and torso."

There were no details on the terms of the settlement. Trump had already sparked discomfort among even his closest allies with his bizarre effort to host the 2020 G7 summit at his own hotel.

Conservative Rick Santorum, a CNN analyst and former presidential candidate, said the president should "just stop" trying to use the White House to steer business to his properties ...

It was a fucking dump. My room and meals were paid by an event sponsor so no idea of cost. If they paid more than Motel 6 rates they got fleeced.
