So, I just booked my shot this morning ( for 1030am) from their website. Apparently, restrictions have not hit Virginia yet.

(1,304 posts)I got there to find out that, although I scheduled for flu, Shingles and COVID, they had me scheduled for flu and shingles and didn't have enough COVID for me because, what they had, was for other people. Their pre appoinment text messaging, though, had me scheduled for all three several days in a row. They said they would let me know when it was my turn for a COVID as they dribbled the supplies in. I expected to hear from them the next day and reschedule but, nothing.

(924 posts)I tried to book an appointment at Walgreens in North Carolina.
I am not yet 65.
Currently, in remission of lymphoma but immunocompromised due to ongoing chemotherapy treatments every 3 weeks.
They refused to book an appointment without a prescription from my physician.
I did not have to do this last year when Biden was president.
I heard some states are ignoring those restrictions; not NC.
NC has a Democratic governor but a Republican legislature.
I wished I lived in a different state or different country.

(8,366 posts)all I had to do (I am not 65 or above) is list a couple conditions and the system automatically booked me. I showed up and got the shot with no issues.
