My father’s Mexican parents fled the revolution sometime around 1919, and he was born in the USA. My mother’s parents emigrated from Norway around the same time, and she was also born here. The paper bag test could make me a target, but not my two living sisters. It’s weird to think of these things.

The wingnuts have always hated the idea that it's illegal to 'racially profile' when arresting people. That's just more unfair DEI/Civil Rights stuff that the Evil Libs put in place. To them it's just 'common sense' to look at brown people with suspicion and target them for arrest and jail.

And this SCOTUS will certainly decide in their favor once they see a case on these grounds

- Lily white (tans are OK - may have to show bikini lines)
- Male (hard to tell with all the incels/proud boys)
- Talks like a xtian (walking like one is not necessary)
- Landed gentry - maybe just a big car/truck and lots of bing?

People think it doesn't effect them, but it does, ICE can come after you no matter your immigration status, race, or profession.

A little story about this. Coworkers parents were visiting their daughter overseas early this Summer. This is an older white couple in their 60s, from West Michigan, they're Dutch. When they went through customs at JFK in New York, ICE singled them out to go through their phones, they were made to think they would be detained if they refused access to their phones. Well, ICE did detain them after they found political posts critical of Donald Trump on their Facebook pages. They spent 6 hours in a small room being harassed and grilled by ICE agents about their social media posts before finally being released after having missed their connecting flight, they had to book new and more expensive flights to finally make it home. They were offered no food and had to beg for water during this 6 hour interrogation. The last 2 hours they begged to use a bathroom and were denied until they finally were released.

This is happening in America right now. And it's only going to get worse. ICE is going to be patrolling the polls with machine guns in minority districts next Fall, count on that.
