It's not lack of self-awareness. It's selfishness. It's entitlement. It's greed. It's cruelty.
They're bad people. That's not hyperbole, or exaggeration. It really is black and white, in this instance.
They have no problem taking handouts while telling you "No Handouts." They want you to suffer and hurt because it brings them pleasure to hurt people and make them suffer.
Them being hypocrites means nothing to them.

Maybe the hedge funds will hire these farmers to work for them at 10 bucks per hour.
We've seen this happen in other businesses. Unfettered caitalism, baby! It is the FUTURE!

so they can borrow more money from China and Japan to give the farmers another handout --- to be paid for by US taxpayers for many generations.

(92,596 posts)5. So they want to cut food assistance for those struggling financially
the food assistance is provided by giving govt subsidy to farmers.
And when the food assistance is cut these farmers still think they should get government funds for something that is no longer needed since they decide to cut ut ?
The level of arrogance and hatred these people have.
